Volunteer Auxiliary

The Independent Living Center of Mobile is constantly looking for special prople who are willing to share their time, talents, and energy.

Volunteers are an important part of the ILC. Areas in which they are utilized are: clerical, receptionist, tutors, social activities, Arts and Crafts Programs and fund raising activities.

The Volunteer Auxiliary was established in 1991, and has been an integral part of the Center since that time.

A yearly Spring Gala is the auxiliary's largest fundraiser each year. The Gala includes a luncheon, silent auction and fashion show. This event seems to get bigger and better each year. 100% of the proceeds from the fundraisers go toward consumer services.
